My thoughts exactly......rock rash said::scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:
an MJ uses the same front doors as a 4door XJ, and I would think that moving the seat back would kill your visiblity. I think it would be better to start with a 2 door XJ with the longer doors and start cutting from there.motorcityxj said:I really like RevDens Cherokee chop, for around a year I have been thinking of my alternative to buying a 1st gen 4runner. I like the idea of getting an MJ buying an after market soft top bed cover and chopping the rear of the cabin. The reason for chopping the cab is, I am 6'4" 230 lbs and toO big for a regular cabIf I can do this and move the seat back a few inches like I did in my 4 door Cherokee and NOT CREATE a giant blind spot .... I think this would be a sweet custom jeep. I would have to weld the bed and cab together to get a weather/water tight cabin. I would then make custom wheel wells in the rear, drop in a 4.7 stroker, a rear seat, raise up the gas tank, put in a cage, and wheel the crap out of it.
What do you guys think and has anyone seen this done ?
