I live right here in Prather. What would be a good minimum equipment setup for this run? I just got my XJ, which is going to be a DD. By then I hope it will be at about 4" on 31's, it's got a trac-lok in the rear. Suitable or not?

Doug

Patience and or chains, oh and and some tow points. Definately suitable.

I guess ive been kicked out pf Phil's bed, but you can count on me being there.

You have a bed with me always!

Is there any interest in getting some shirts done, post up. I figure if we get about 15 people interested it will be worth while.

Count me in.

Just lack of planning. That probably goes for runs of all types.

Would you like to set up a run for a different weekend in the more local mountains?

I might be coming. not quite sure yet. if I do come i'll probably bring a friend and maybe go hit the slopes at dodge all day friday and then spend the night on friday and saturday.

to Join or to lead ?

The reason for all the runs down south is because thats where the people that plan most of them live. Id definatly be down for a run to Iron Mt a time or two.

I would encourage you to plan runs!!!!!! We have liked the Shaver area so so much due to its vast variations of trails and whatnot. Especially for the snow run and having the ability to get a cabin very close to the trails and what not.

I couldn't agree more. The Bald Mtn run is a great trail to run in the snow without worrying about gates being locked and trails closed for the winter. Please do not sit around and whine about a lack of available runs in your area. Step-up and plan a run for the chapter, anyone can do it, even non-members can plan runs for all of us to enjoy.
