Actually, you're correct. Jeep never made a factory assembled dually. The dually trucks are just Metric Ton/Big Ton package trucks with D44's and heavy leaf packs.

The "legit" trucks were documented dealer option installation and the best records so far indicate that only 9 trucks were ever fitted with the fenders and dual wheel kits...... from new sale anyway. Might certainly be another handfull that were put together by owners after purchase down the road.

But anyway, this truck is particularly incredible because it looks to have been looked after and appreciated during the majority of it's life. The fact that the ad title recognizes it as a "Big Ton" package truck indicates to me the owner is no stranger to Jeeps and knows what he has...... that and the built XJ in the background....... :thumbup:

Only from the standpoint of tire ratings and overall weight stability when driving or towing. But the leaf packs were no different than a single rear wheel Metric Ton truck.

If the title/registration transfer process were easy, I'd take you up on that offer. Unfortunately our DMV is gonna require several things and verification forums in order to submit for a U.S. title.

It is a nipple.

Rear attachment point for a camper. There is also a pair of rings on each right behind the cab; they are the front attachment points.
