Yeah, you may be right. I was of the impression that the Pioneer versions were the step up from the rubber floors and vinyl seats with no A/C and no frills.

I went and snatched all the black interior parts out of an '87 at the junk yard a couple weeks back and come to think of it, I believe it did have the Pioneer hockey stick decals on it....... just can't remember if it had "Pioneer" on it.

Ever see an MJ with the radio delete option? That truck had smooth door panels with no speakers and a plastic dash insert where the radio would be. Took a pic of the radio delete that I can post later.....

I think I asked about that before on CC and teh consensus was that the 'trim' level didn't necessarily mean too much. Mine is a Pioneer (says Pioneer, no hockey stick sticker) and I have AC, PS, buckets.

I've seen other Pioneers that had options better/worse than mine.

maybe it's the hockey stick sticker? :roflmao:

yep. Most of the holes are supposed to line up. If you're feeling froggy and want to swap the doors you can. The door panels just won't match and you'll have to run power to the electric windows.

Just pick up a donor XJ and swap in the whole interior, dash and all! Make your MJ an HO OBD2 rig and enjoy!

Thats my plan for my next one.

Oh my god, it's made of snow! Do you realize what the street value of this parking lot is?
