ROR... ye olde project creep. I am reborn as a KISS dude... and I don't mean makeup. At least not every day.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Not that there is anything wrong with that... :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

of course!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Go to youtube and check out Northants RC Trail drivers. This looks like a lot of fun. Love the realistic performance of these RC rigs.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

ROR... you're going to need a touch more lift, there, Mike. So much for the KISS :D

Story with a point... my buddy Tommy built a massive 78 chevy pickup when we were in college. Stupid amount of lift, supercharged 400 small block, 44" mudders, which in the late 80's were about as big as it got. Long weekend of wrenching, drinking, and wrenching, and when done it was awesome!... and too tall to get out of the garage it was built in. Let ALL the air out of the tires and squeaked out by less than an inch. Just sayin...by your photos, you may be flirting with a similar issue!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Oh yes. Haven't been in anything that tight in a long time.
I kid I kid. :gag:

It's going to be right amount of lift I think. Jeep is low so getting axle in place under it is easier. Then I'll raise to get tires n such on.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Great looking wheels, by the way, what are those?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Method race wheels. Mesh is the style.
Went poor man beadlocks. (Alloy 8 lug 17" beadlocks are stupid $) and did 8.5 wheels on 13.5 tires.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

its gonna fold like a taco. ;)

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Any advise on what would be a fair price to ask for the 18" wheels/tires that came on my limited Liberty? Four of the tires look to be very new. The spare is in excellent shape but a different brand. Comes with center caps and TPMS valves. Ready to go. I was thinking $500?
