Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I can't sell my daily driver to save my life. Guess the market for used up subarus is better than the market for new performance builds.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

It's been unbelievable. I've got people getting upset because I'm trying to honor the order that emails were received and they're getting impatient. Just got another email from somebody else.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

K&K was closed today I wanted to try and pick up some 2x8 just in case I get the far this few days off ...if it's not snowing tomorrow I'm going to try and get the doors stripped the seat out and aome sawzall action...What I like about less body is it makes the tires look bigger .

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Left for work this morning and it felt like my sway bar was disconnected, woke me up pretty quick on the first turn. Sure enough, pull over and some SOB stole both of the disconnects right off my Jeep. Had to of happened last night. Seriously pisses me off

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Dirty...your problem is that you probably don't have enough fish smell lurking in the car. I've obviously got more than enough and it's oozing through in the Craigslist ad. I also do have ample fishing decals and that can't be hurting my situation any.

So much theft in Denver and springs right now it's stupid. Jeeps going missing left and right. Sad to say, but luckily it was just the discos.

Yep, they tried to steal the Jeep about a month ago. They popped the ignition but either they were too stupid to get it started or something spooked them. I have a kill switch now so that should help. Just sucks to have to worry about that.

No JK market worth a shit either apparently. I know I started out high but seriously would've thought it'd be gone by now. I let it fall off of craigslist for a bit.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Good to see you are still kicking Dutch. I know life has been rough lately, but check in every once in a while anyway.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Outside of Atlanta right now headed down to Pensacola, FL since I didn't get to come home for Christmas (visiting mom and step dad). Pouring and traffic is bumper to bumper...10 miles into my drive. FML.

On the CB when I drove 48 state I-285 was called the Watermelon 500 by all the drivers .

Re: The Colorado BS thread

OK, this is making me hungry... :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Tires on the Liberty are no good in the snow but I am having a hell of a time finding anything like a BFG AT, MT in 235/60/18.

Is that the size mounted, or the size on the door sticker?

Anyway, don't get locked into your perception of what a tread pattern should look like. I have been pleasantly surprised by my Hankook A/T tires, not so great on ice, but better than I expected in snow.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Offhand I think I have Hankook Dynapro AT-M's on the WJ, I've really had no complaints with them. They seem to be a great tire.

Go with a 255/60r18. I pulled this from lost jeeps.

KK WHEEL NOMINAL SIZE-DIAMETER & WIDTH: 18x7
Manufacturer: Stock Jeep LTD wheels

KK TIRE SIZE SPEC: 255/60/18
Tire Brand-Model: General Grabber AT

SUBSEQUENT CLEARANCE: Slight rub at full lock, small chop required.
Lift: Mopar 50mm

Re: The Colorado BS thread

That's the size that is mounted. Jeep used a lot of different size tires and wheels for these. I finally found a 235/60 in the BFG AT last night. I'll check out the Hancook as well. DJ...my only concern is that the 255/60 rubbed with a lift (as minimal as it was). I do not want to cut or remove the fender liners in this vehicle.

You know you want that Cadillac ride.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Lifts for these vehicles are not cheap. I really just want good tires for this one. At least until the stock stuff craps the bed and then maybe I'll reconsider adding a slight boost. I'm not sure how bad this one's stance is raked (looked at a few that were pretty noticeable). If it bothers me then, right now, I'll look at fixing that with a spacer.
