Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

This is getting old....... Lost another friend and co-worker. Not line of duty, lost him to complications from a major stroke.

Erick Steinman 45. Husband, father of 4. Good friend, unmatched sense of humor, honest and loyal to a fault. I met him when we both got hired on at Jeffco in '90 as Cadets. We graduated the same L.E. academy and worked together in the jail for 6 years. He was one of my groomsman at our wedding.

Plagued with a body that just wouldn't cooperate - Diabetic with transplanted kidneys (multiple surgeries). Had finally gotten healthy to the point that he could get out of the jail and work the road for the past 8 or so years. Loved day shift and people - numerous awards and commendations from public accolades. Just a great guy.

I'll miss you brother.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Click on that white pages link and let me know how many of those are in Crawford........:rtm:
Um, no. Besides, its easier to ask for a physical address for a business that is so new, he has yet to show up on any directories.

I'm sorry for your loss Troy. From your description, your bud made the most of the time he had on this planet.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Zac and I went to the Airstrip Attack, lots of really, really nice cars running a 1/2 mile flat out. Lots of really nice noises. Lamborghinis everywhere. My fav was a metallic blue bling beast with 2300 HP. It did 224 mph. A couple of SRT-8 jeeps there, one with twin turbos. It didn't do any timed runs that we saw. Didn't look quite as zippy as the Lamborghinis running on the far strip. There was a Mitsu with a Boostwerks sticker, I think it ran in the 130's. Quite a few Vette's, a couple of Stang's, a Shelby, a Viper, GTR's one or two of which hit 200 and another hit 190 and blew up, a Caddy or two, Subbies but none of them ran, a Camaro that ran 150 consistently, 3 series BMW that ran 130's, a couple of AMG's, a Civic with a V-6 and turbo nicely shoehorned into it that ran 150's, Porsche's, including a 918 running 170,and a Lambo with a V-12 that had the best sound of all, but didn't run that we saw. Lot's of cool cars downtown tonight, also.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Also, I forgot the Mercury Montego, 60's style, that hit in the 130's.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

If I knew anyone was going I woulda had you meet up with tony. He was one of the guys riding for victory motorcycles down there.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

They had a big presence downtown. No bikes ran for times while I was watching.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I think I have discovered why the downstream oxygen sensor keeps setting a light.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Damn Emissions crap...lol...kept going into regen in and out then I get a p242b code for my #3 Exhaust temp sesor which is why the truck keeps bumping into regen ...figured i might maybe come out without too much trouble and I'd just see if it could be revived with a somple cleaning of excess carbon ,but that was a pipe dream heat and liquid wrench has only made for rounding out the head , so next step is a big set of vice grips to try and remove it ,which is probably going to result in snapping it ,so I've already ordered weld on bungs in anticipation of this ...Why does every emissions part have to be crap to deal with ?

What's that from Mike? The wife's new ride? I assume that's where the catalytic grid/screen is supposed to be? Odd that it's "serviceable" as in that the housing can be separated like that........

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Yes and yes. They call it a "pre-CAT" and it bolts directly to the exhaust manifold.
