Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Paid a guy on my shift who just started a landscape business to do my back yard over 2 weeks ago, all that has been done so far is string my property line. Going to be awkward but I think I am going to ask for my money back and attempt to build fence, lay sod and rock out myself.

Whatcha got in writing???

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Fence is easy, even I can do a decent job. Sod is all about the prep before, and you might as well do sprinklers while you are at it. Also very easy.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Body work is so ****in stressful. That's all.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

TIP FOR THE DAY . . . DONT HAVE YOUR MUFFLER TUCKED UP AND MOUNTED UP HIGH AND AWAY FROM ROCKS, YOUR CARPET WILL CATCH ON FIRE

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Anyone have insight to how worthwhile it is to sell a 2wd pickup out of state vs here. Getting the girls tacoma ready to sell.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Jeep never had one. But I'm going to try and rig up a heat shield and maybe even heat wrap the muffler. Yeah I'm lucky I caught it before it went up in flames.

mount an air bake cookie sheet to the floor pan above the cat.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I've never seen a muffler get hot enough to do that. The catalytic converter sure, but not a muffler....... :dunno:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Did it in my green jeep headed up old stage to go camping. Melted my brothers shoe sole and carpet started to burn.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I had that happen when driving to Johnson Valley at 3am on i5 in the middle of California.

Turns out the cat got hot enough to burn the carpet and it started to smolder. Of course I had a 2 door with stuff piled on top of the area, so I was that guy on the side of the road throwing stuff out of the jeep trying to get it from catching anything else on fire.
