Super jealous Jim. That ride looks so fun and I'd love to see the Baja live one day.

Matt..yes. My wife. And Troy.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

So the sales people at the Dodge dealer in Golden are stupid. I'm buying a truck in 6 months or so and I went to check out a used one on their lot and a couple of new ones to see how I liked them. Two sales reps were standing and taking to a guy not 10 feet from me any my wife really intently checking out a couple trucks right in front of their building. Neither one of them even acknowledged us or said hi. If I want to buy a Dodge I'm going somewhere else.

No comments on the Dodge Ford GM argument please. :)

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Seems rare to go to a dealer and NOT get brow beat.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

No kidding. I love it when they leave me the frack alone...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Pretty sure I'm going to get in trouble with my HOA soon. All the lawns in our association have that mountain wild grass that really looks nice when it's long. Our lawn has always been just dirt. It looked hideous. So 2 years ago, the woman we share our lawn withs son (who happens to own his own landscaping business) wanted to do about $30,000 in work for her as a Christmas gift (we lucked out). Well I maintain it with an electric mower. There's not much grass at all and the rest is big berms with mulch and all kinds of native plants/trees. I use big scissors to trim. I've been doing this for 2 years now and never had an issue. Today I was mowing it and every member of the HOA drove by, stopped and gawked. When I went to walk over to say hello they all sped off. I may be jumping to conclusions but something feels strange. I'm gonna freak if they have issue with me mowing the area that was landscaped. How can that be an issue when it makes property values go up AND it didn't cost the HOA a penny?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

So you're in trouble because you DO mow your lawn??

Re: The Colorado BS thread

That's what I'm saying. I don't know. I may just be on high alert. We'll see.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

What? You're high? What king of grass are you mowing...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Actually that would make a lot of sense. The last time I did smoke grass (eons ago) I got very paranoid. Didn't dig it. That is NOT the case here. Our HOA is so weird. Our dues are $145 a month and we don't pay for shat on the outside of the house. Trash, shoveling the drive, anything to do with the outside of the house is all covered. Got a new roof several years ago. They stain our house and paint the decks every other year. I think it's a great deal. However, the dues have not been raised in 6 years and what we pay does not accurately reflect the current cost of services so the HOA asked for a vote to bump dues like an extra 40 so that we could get our decks rebuilt (several and mine is one of them are in very bad shape and totally rotted out). I'm actually not real fond of even being on my deck because it sags/gives so much. It was voted down.

We'll see what happens. I have a bad feeling. My instincts are HONED.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Pay attention Steve. Water consumption from flushing = INSIDE the house. Not outside.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

What, you think you have different water supplies? Some for inside, some for out? It's all the same.

Mostly, there haven't been any poo references lately, so I thought I'd get us back on track to being off track, at your expense.

Maybe that troll doll, with the rainbow colored hair, has been talking...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Doug.... I've had great experiences at Brandon Dodge. They have a huge selection of new and used dodge trucks all the time. The service dept. is top notch.... We even take the SRT8 to them over the jeep dealer for maintenance.

Every time I take the truck or SRT8 for an oil change I get hit up, but no silly pressure. They got hit with hail recently so they're motivated to move vehicles right now...both damaged and not.
