Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

16.5 hours straight through from Minneapolis to Black Forest... I need a beer. But I did manage to replace the starter and selenoid in my skid steer this morning... progress.

Aaand... Then a hydraulic line burst. Joy.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

riddle me this one -- I put two inches of lift on the Titan (billet spacers), and buy 295... they do not rub at all (close, but no) for the first 3000 miles... now they are rubbing big time on both sides at full lock. :dunno:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

You finally getting that thing broke in.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

you think it took 26000 miles to settle the front springs?? weird.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

More like, all the suspension joints are starting to age in dog years, because you left the mall parking lot.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Rub front to back? I'd check UCA bolts and everything to make sure nothing worked itself loose or askew to change any geometry.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

its catching the "pinch seam" at the rear inside of both wheel wells. checked the UCA's and they are good and tight. peculiar.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I'm a gentle turner...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Apparently I do, but I didn't at the start... :dunno:

I drove home from Minneapolis to Loveland about 5 months ago. The only good thing was that every mile I clicked off, the closer I was to home, my own bed, and a home cooked meal.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Exactly, Tom. My wife wanted to speed in N Platte, but we were too close. Slept like a baby in my own bed (I know you had missed yours more!)

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I didn't replace my struts. oddly, it is now just barely rubbing... I'm truly puzzled.

Pets, vets and dental issues......

Anyone else had to have your pet's tooth/teeth removed?

Two previous cats and 3 previous dogs and not one of them had dental issues. We never paid for their teeth to be cleaned.

All 3 of our current cats have had to have teeth removed.... Total of 9 teeth.... Probably close to $2,000 in dental surgery. They all have had dental cleanings. My GSD Gunnar is in surgery currently to have a small benign tumor removed from his eyelid and our vet recommended teeth X-rays and a cleaning ....... He's now having 4 teeth removed due to abscesses below the gumline...... At a cost of $1,500......

Is it something in the water around here??? Effing-hell!

:banghead:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Apparently I'm blessed with a dog that has "fused roots" which means the teeth are joined together at the roots.... Which makes it a lot more difficult to remove teeth....which causes longer time in surgery under anesthesia.....which equates to $$$. New estimate went to nearly $2K.

Gunnar's first owners had his teeth filed down ....... God only knows why, but that wad part of the neglect that got him to the Rescue where we adopted him. The teeth filling is what caused 2 teeth to be removed. The other 2 had abscesses.

The Doc gave me a 10% discount and dropped the eye surgery fees since that procedure only took 10 minutes..... Which got us to $1,733.....

My credit card just got corn-holed.......
