Robbie Gordon is a whiny b!tch.

Enlighten us.

Don't know of anything recently...... but in '05 he made quite a fuss over Danica Patrick having an unfair advantage. He claimed that NASCAR requires all cars to be the same, down to the 1525 lb weight. He said Danica weighs 100 lbs and he, 200 lbs. He equated that to a 1 mph advantage over all other NASCAR drivers who all generally weigh in between 180 and 210. He said back then he'd refuse to race until that issue was fairly resolved.

All I found recently is that his French/Renault made "Gordini" Dakar rig is the suck and keeps breaking down..... :dunno:

Ya, I remember that, it was when I started to dislike him as a driver. But then again, he is not the only whiner in NASCAR, but justifiably the biggest. I'm curious as to what he is whining about now.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

All the "make everything exactly 100% fair" crap has made NASCAR the most boring shit on the planet by completely stifling innovation. Enough whining, life isn't fair, wear a helmet, suck it up and find a way to tilt things in your favor.

I couldn't agree more.

I was finished with Nascar when Toyota entered........... It hurt my eyes to see that shit on the tracks.... :smsoap:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

There are always those that complain of "unfair" advantages. Like when Bill Elliott was yelled at for the shape of the Thunderbird.

As if it was his problem that the car had a lower coefficient of drag than the GMs...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Oh te toyota car with American employees doing work in an American shop winning and spending money on an American sport in America??
How dare the Japanese !!!!

Really though wtf.
Unless you are Native American/Mexican you have no right to bitch about foreign stuff being used in the US or other nationalities. You werent from here originally either. Your family wasn't 'Mercia either. You were an import. Being true 'Mercia should be understanding th idea that all compete and the best survive and make progress. In which case if toyota wins, puss on the others.
All this other stuff is horse shit uneducated drunk rambling.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Best Leno joke I heard lately was his pointing out that it was shortly after the 1st thanksgiving that the natives figured out they had an immigration policy problem...

The Colorado BS thread

Too bad all "Native Americans" still migrated over here from Europe/Africa way back in time.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Oh I am referencing provable historically documented times.
No one is of origin. So to speak. Even further justifying the point to cram the bs

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I processed through MEPs today with a little mexican guy named florez. Was pretty funny.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Enlighten us.

I'm not sure when it was run this year but the event in Parker, AZ where he was in the lead and was communicating with his helicopter which is strictly forbidden as not all competitors have their own team helo. He was penalized 15 minutes and it cost him the win. He cried about it. Last night they were interviewing BJ Baldwin about his hopes for the Dakar and he said first...to win and second...to come in ahead of Robbie. Robbie was upset about that and called him a dreamer. Well BJ's only 2.5 hours down after 2 days. And Robbie's Hummer is running like a dog turd this year.

I've never liked him. Poor sport.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

He had a hell of a time his first go at KOH 2 years ago. He trashed a lot of parts on the rig too, including the engine. People rave about how good he did in qualifying but he went through a lot of parts during practice and thrashed the rig so hard in the process that the engine gave up 14miles or so into the race. I was there that year too, it was a great event and I'd love to make it back out there.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I'm having a lot of trouble with the body work on my cafe racer project (the gas tank) and decided to walk away from it for a while and do other things. I have met some really nice people on some of the cafe/Honda forums and one of them has offered to help me. He lives in Virginia. He builds cafe racers and is currently between projects and bored. He said if I ship him my tank, he will take it all back to bare metal and rework everything, do the body work, sand it out, prime it and then ship it back to me. No charge. The question I have is...am I going to have trouble with USPS shipping a tank? I'm going to drain what little fuel is in it right now and then put rubber stoppers in the fill/drain holes so it won't stink.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

What they don't know won't hurt them... Just label it "auto parts". You were welding on it, it couldn't be too hazardous...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

But I put a bit of gas back in. That's why I gotta drain it. I really don't think it will stink.

"Being true 'Mercia should be understanding th idea that all compete and the best survive and make progress." I agree with this, that's exactly right. But:

I'se got news for you, Mike, no one is from anywhere except Africa. There is evidence that Euro's were on NA before Asians, not a lot, but some was found at a site on the east coast that was Euro in origin and dated before the migration from Asia.

Nothing wrong with being loyal to the brand.
