I've never been out on one. Personally I find sport bikes uncomfortable and impractical for anything besides a track day.

I like the more upright sport tourers and naked street fighter bikes though. I'm actually very interested in test riding a 690 Duke and a 950 or 990 SuperMotard.

Eh it depends. I definitely dig the triumph tiger's and the ergonomics of them. But street bikes depend on which bike. That's why I like the Hondas so much. they don't put you on your wrists so much and are a lot more comfortable to be on for a few hours, so long as you get an aftermarket seat that actually has some pad to it. :roflmao:

That's some good info, my main use would be zipping back and forth am hour between work and the drive from Laramie - Westminster once I move out

That's some good info, my main use would be zipping back and forth am hour between work and the drive from Laramie - Westminster once I move out

something not super tall and light would be ideal. A slightly heavier and lower profile bike will be easier to ride in the buffering wind you get up there. just remember to keep a solid but loose grip on the bike in wind. Let it move around and whatnot. Fighting to keep it on a specific line is jjust asking for trouble.

HWY 287 to Laramie is best to prevent the stupid winds on I-80. Its a prettier ride too.

David - You would literally have to install a plow on the front to push the females out of the way. Nothing says "Stud" like 200hp on a 575lbs motorcycle...lol

Only problem is, they threaten to break up with you once you scare the sh!t out of them a few times. Ask my wife.

Yeah, I'm cool sticking with my 500lb, 100hp, 34" tall seat, oversized dirt bike. The next bike for me is a small enduro like a KLX250S or WR250R. That way I can putter to work at 60-70mpg and then be able to pick the thing up when I crash it off road.

My dad will hate you all when he gets online and sees this. Two of my friends are selling there bikes because there parents won't let them keep em, I could pick up a 05 r6 for $600 because its spray painted an dropped a few times or an older ninja 1000 for $1500 because even the kids wants to get rid of it because it scares him. He called it the limo to hell!

As most of you know. I've been fighting an issue with my driver side hub coming loose. Well. I think I found the problem.
I don't know how I have missed it all this time. But check out the video.
I think my bearing hub is just a little worn out. Lol

lol in a pinch you can take a punch and make some marks around the mating surface to make um fit better

Weird........ I wonder if that's a machining defect. Very unusual to see a race that loose in it's seat in the hub. LOL...... you could tighten down the bearings as tight as you could and never get that to seat right........ :looney:

I wonder if you took that spacer off if you'd find the hub split under it...... maybe it cracked/split allowing that race to sit loose like that...... :dunno:

It's done for.... I have ordered a new bearing hub from IHonlynorth.

I've taken the spacers off to replace rotors and haven't noticed any cracks or obvious damage. But I wasn't looking for it ether...
Pretty sure it's just from a lot of abuse. I have replaced almost everything except the bearing hub. I just can't believe I didn't notice this before. It's all making sense now. Hahaha.
