Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

it depends on when you go. it's not too bad unless you go on Sunday. Even that I"m not sure about. we went on Saturday last year and it wasn't bad. Sunday is when all the big finals are (Men's half pipe, primarily) so that's when I'd expect the mayhem.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Just thought I'd post up this pic, its an MJ Truggy that'll be competing at KOH this year. I'll try and get some up close pics while I'm on the Lake Bed.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Its why I would love to have another MJ to build. Too bad there just isn't room for a 3rd seat.

Wasn't there a thread at one time where someone was attempting to build an extended cab or a crew cab MJ using XJ parts? There would be a Frankenstein... Aren't the floor pans, roof and uniframes pretty much incompatable?

But yah... An MJ would be nice thing to have around. Tried to convince the Boy to get one when his ZJ got totalled a year and a half ago. I am ashamed to admit he went with a Subaru Legacy. Something about, "I'm a poor College Student and need an econo box". Oh well, at least it is all wheel drive.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

I think Dutch is just the guy to take on a project like grafting the B through C pillars of a 4dr XJ onto and MJ, replacing the rear window, and having an uber short bed to keep the wheelbase at around 103... get on it Dutch!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

that is from way back in the day -- IIRC it is actually a 2dr cherokee converted to have a MJ-like bed... DJ has a bunch of knowledge on that particular rig, if he decides to stick his head in here from the great NW.

Correct. They did a real nice job on that roof, it looks to me like they transplanted the entire roof structure to the A-pillars instead of hacking the roof sheetmetal together like most do. It is definitely mj cab back and bed rails grafted to a 97+ body though, the gas door is in the spot for an XJ and those tail lights match the body lines too well for it to be a 100% MJ bed swap.

And it is, in fact, beautiful!

Topless For TaTas

Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 1000.
Mass participation from all members and future members is requested.

We will be conducting a fundraiser to help support the Colorado Springs Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at the Ram Off-Road Park off of Hwy. 94.

RAM Off-Road Park

The gate fee is $20, which will be donated to the Foundation.

There will be food and fun for everyone.

Since this is for charity, any and all four wheel drives are invited to participation.

What's with the "Topless"? If your vehicle's top or doors can be removed, do it to show your support for breast cancer awareness. If not, we ask that you roll down your windows.

We all hope to see you there.

Hey guys this is a Charity event that my Jeep Club is putting on. Would be great that some of you could show up. Ram is a great Off Road Park. Lots to do for any skill level. Mike

Saw this on another board. Could be a fun way to all get together and help with a good cause.
