Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Some of you guys sound worse than my granddaughters arguing. Grow up and knock it off.

Don't even push it with Janine or get in the gutter cause you are liable to get your ass kicked, and most likely she will be the one doing it. I've wheeled with her and she has earned respect. She can outwheel most of the guys on this forum and is a damned lot smarter. Disrespecting members on this forum will not be tolerated no matter who it is. Joking is one thing, disrespecting is another.

Frank builds and sells some stuff to make ends meet in a trying economy. The reason he sells it on here is because people liked what he did on his rig and wanted the same. He as built a rep for delivering a good product and frankly people ask for his stuff a lot more than he tries to pimp it. Most times he has a waiting list. Times are hard and everybody tries to make ends meet by doing a little on the side. I have no problem with people doing a little on the side. When you don't deliver what is promised or push it too far, changes will have to be made. We've been a lot more flexible here than most chapters. We will keep it that way as long as it doesn't get abused.

Now get off the damned computer and work on your rig or go wheeling.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Can we get a thread, like the Moab one, here in the co chapter for general chit chat and such about cofest.
It's just easier than gettin over to the actual even forum and clogging it up with simple convo. Just wanna know who's drivin up when or where to meet and whose plannin on bringin what, yada yada yada.

Is that doable??? B

That makes very little sense....... If I'm needing to get info, put out info or discuss anything related to CO Fest, I don't wanna have to pick between more than one forum location......

The event forum allows for more than one thread - start your own thread!

You worried about non-Colorado folks eavesdropping on your plans and whatnot? :dunno:

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Yes, if you have a heating and cooling thermostat and at least 3 thermostat wires coming from the furnace. Most systems use what is known as a Honeywell 4 wire system. The color code from the furnace to the t-stat is simple;
Red to Red (24vdc)
White to White (Heat)
Yellow to Yellow (Cooling)
Green to Green (Fan)

Simply connect the green wire to the "G" terminal on the furnace control board and then to the "G" terminal on the Htg/Cooling T-stat. Move the fan switch from "Auto" to "On" and your done.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

what guage wire does the green wire need to be? it looks like they spliced into the old 2 wire setup, and left the green wire just kinda hanging out of the splice.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

UpullNpay here in the springs has really gone downhill as far as what's in there availability wise and usefulness wise. Seems like what does come in is pre stripped!!

Re: The Colorado BS thread

they havent had a new one in about a week, and no new 97+ for about 4 months. look at it daily

Re: The Colorado BS thread

So Pull-n-Save in Aurora is 1/2 price this weekend. Checked it out this afternoon, the XJ's have been pretty picked over but there were several Grands there if someone is looking to pick up the parts to do a rear disc swap.

Of the XJ's, one '99 that was hit hard enough in the front left to break the Dana 30 housing, and everything else was 96 and earlier. 2 MJ's :( one short, one long. No Dana 44's.

Happy hunting
