Re: The Colorado BS thread
I spent $1700 on a good, running, reliable, turbo diesel truck. It has a comfortable cab and 4x4, and with some fresh meats it'll plow through the snow which a small car can't do. I have a full size truck bed to throw axles and other large parts in that were difficult to manage with an XJ, and since I have a DD now I have the ability to build up a trail XJ as I have the time and money for it, as opposed to throwing my DD on the rocks, worrying about breaking it and having no transportation, having to rush through mods all in one go so it would still be drivable the next day. And why the hell would I need to get a trailer now? I have nowhere to put it other than the street and nothing to put on it, so it'd just sit out there on the street till I have a jeep to tow, which even if I had one now would have to wait until after winter since the trails are almost closed :lecture:
See, I'm not crazy
And how much did you spend on a truck when you could have bought a decent xj and spent less and still be able to lift it with new tires and be able to drive to the trail? I don't see why you got a truck when tou won't have a trailer able jeep let alone a trailer. And your saying I shouldn't spend my money that I work my ass of for to have fun. You should resell that truck and get a car dude your gonna be much happier later down the road.

Sorry but I have to defend Mac on his truck purchase. He will get a lot more use out of a truck as his primary then he will out of a little car or Jeep. Also, that truck should still net him similar mileage as a Cherokee.
Trailers are cheap, you can snag one for around 1000$.
