Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Now I smell like floor cleaner ...lol...was leaving the flying-j here in n platte NE and the carpet slid when I stepped on it since it was wet underneath I did save my Bacon burgers from injury in the fall.
I started fueling there in 2006. On one of my more recent trips, I lost my appetite to dirty table ware. My server/hostess/waitress/whatever you call the person serving your food asked me if I would like a set of wrapped, plastic utensils... She was smart enough to retrieve the soiled utensils before acting like I should be wearing a tin-foil hat.

I did have a conversation with the manager on duty. He agreed with everything I said while nodding his head. He even offered me a discount.

I'll never eat at that Denny's again, ever.

The manager offered me a cup of coffee after the tumble..aspirin and a Rockstar would have been more appropriate .I have seen some pretty dirty restaurants as for Dennys I have not are there bit Youtube has some fun videos of it ...more like Fight club .

Anyone else unable to upload to photobucket? For about two weeks now it gets into an endless loop of telling me to sign in when I want to upload, I sign in, try to upload, it asks me to sign in... WTF?:bs:

I hate photobucket - it's been acting stupid for me for a while.

Does anyone know of a better site for hosting photos?

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Does google photos give you an IMG tag? I've been using photobucket for years but am getting tired of how slow and crappy the site runs because of all its advertisements. I barely use it on my PC anymore and try to just stick with the app version on my phone, but even that is hit or miss on how well it works.

I pay the $10 a year and the site runs nice with NO advertisements.

Stay your ass home at night ,hell anytime there is big snowfall and you do not spend the coin on the equipment to entertain driving in it stay home. So many folks out around 0200 figting to get traction and failing after just having to go out Friday after work . You know.these folks would have a much easier time if they spent money on tires or simply a cheap set of snow chains.they are super cheap for car size chains...if buying these items is not something you feel the place to appropriate you funds to then you should feel no privilege to be on the roads in this weather with those who have getting in the way .

When I was 18, living and working in Denver, I discovered it was easier to sit in the break room and read something while tow trucks cleared the streets. I had good tires on that car, so the drive home was uneventful. :)

At 2-am in a blizzard one would need to wait many hours for tow and plow action to make the drive uneventful ...lol...I set my pickup truck up so at the end of the work week I do not need to camp out in my Semi truck until Saturday's dawn and roads may clear...lol...really with about a foot of snow on the road when I headed home at 0200 nothing but 4x4 with appropriate tires belonged out not even two wheel drive cars with good tires since they lack clearance ...I will say this the driver who is going 20mph and thinks he is the official pace setter will always be a fun toy on the 2-am.drive home in the snow

If you've ever driven I-25 between Castle Rock and Monument, you'd be grateful the Colorado State Patrol did a slow moving escort rather than close the road completely. :) Been behind them, been grateful for what they do. In later hours I've driven that road completely unplowed with some crazies who want to blow by me. OK man, go for it.

Good call! The laws of physics are undeniable, and I know my stopping distance. ;)
