Colorado B/S Thread

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Soon enough once I buy a house or become a Wyoming resident, the good old state will be paying my way.

The Colorado BS thread

You still looking to Go Guard? Just remember, the Air Force is way nicer.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Air Guard is the way to go man, way more lax over there. They treat their people a lot better and tend to have way nicer accommodations. Actually, its very common for Air Force personnel to be given a sub standard living allowance if they have to stay in Army barracks.

That said, they're all a bunch of pansies. :D

Re: The Colorado BS thread

Flying to Sydney today:

There are some awesome cars over here. The only problem I see, they are SO SLOW! Like gas here is so much more expensive that they just make these tiny Diesel engines to push these big 4x4's. Or put a little 4 banger in vans! I can't even keep 60MPH going up a slight hill. That being said, they know how to camp here. Expedition vehicles every where!

Here's what I did for the last week.

Damn. Never thought being in moab would suck. I was wrong.
Sitting here waiting for my time to reset so I can keep rolling. Wish I had a rig and few days to run around.

As someone who worked for Discount Tire for 5+ years...no.

It wouldn't much matter if you had 20 people wanting to buy. Unless you went through the manufacturer themselves...we made barely anything on "larger" tires.

Re: The Colorado BS thread

So the moral of today for me is: Never hire your friends, because it's 10x harder to fire them and not only do you lose an employee, but you lose a friend as well.

Thems the breaks...

Re: The Colorado BS thread

For those that don't Facebook, here's a little tidbit I need to share based on yesterday's journey home from Wisconsin.

Need to rant a little here about my recent drive across one particular state...........

Dear citizen drivers of the state of Iowa:
For the love of god please go park your automobiles and turn in your drivers licenses. I'M SURE YOU ARE ALL REALLY GOOD PEOPLE but, unfortunately you are also some of the most oblivious, slowest, un-attentive, brain-dead drivers on the road. THE LEFT LANE IS FOR PASSING/FASTER TRAFFIC- NOT FOR YOU TO CAMP IN AT 5-10 MPH UNDER THE SPEED LIMIT!!!!!! There are signs along the roadway to let you know this but it appears you somehow either don't see them or you just don't know how to read. You have these things called mirrors on your cars but you don't seem to know how to use them to see all the vehicles clogged up behind you while you saunter down the interstate daydreaming in what seems to be some kind of Nyquil-like, induced haze. I thought it was getting bad in Colorado but you all need to pat yourselves on the back for a job well done by surpassing even California for having the most mentally-challenged drivers I've ever dealt with. That was undoubtedly the most irritating 5+ hours of driving. This isn't intended to offend you- its intended to, hopefully, get you to wake up and drive "normal.

On the other end of the spectrum:
Kudos Nebraska divers, you're A-OK.

If anyone gets butthurt over this post, sorry, I'm all out of ****s to give.
