Thanks Jim. You can see part of the xj in the back. Gonna do a real simple build on it to give to my sister as first car. Thinkin 3.5" on 31" duratracs with some auto axles swapped in. Want the 3.55 gears, ditch the disco front, and an 8.8/8.25 to replace the 35 rear. Sliders and front bumper. Should be a.cool first ride.
So since I'm pulling the 4.0 out tomorrow any tricks/tips to make it easier? Not my first motor swap but the first for a jeep 4.0. Leave Intake on or take it off? 97 xj auto btw.
Jeezus, $225!!!!! Go to Target, buy a black insulated coffee thermos, get some cheapie screw on picatinny rails and the h-bar you're not using on your AR and build your own for $50...... :looney:
What really pisses me off is I found out for the second year in a row my parents flags were stolen off their porch. My dad is a vet and is proud to fly his flags. But some a-hole has to come along and take them. My parents are down on their luck and this doesn't help boost morale. So it looks like once again I'm off to buy new flags and poles.
Just goin to buy them a security camera and install it myself. They don't have a choice this time. Happend the same time last year. But of course all the other neighbors flags never get stolen.
People never sent me pictures... will see them all tonight at bandimere for test&Tune and will get them then... Will try to have it up by tonight. Really wasnt an exciting trip... Went camped. hungout untill 4am. woke up and they were gettig ready to go run indy and stuff so we went down liberty to meet them at the bottom. We beet them there intime to watch them drop bunker hill. We watched the 3 of them drive up patriot and then decided after the first guy made coffinrock after driving out of a flop that we for somereason should try. Had to winch after floping the first time, made it into ahole and landed on its driver side in there for a second then second try it climbed up up up and finally down and out. then walked up the left side of coffinrock on our 3rd or 4th try. Got to the exit, got crooked and tippy and couldnt back up due to the spare tire being dug into a rock. Winched out from there. I need a new ebreak cable because apparentyl we cut ours while there.
