Collision Estimate/Repair Shop?

I was rear ended in a fender bender tonight and am in need of a shop to get me an estimate on repairs. Anyone have one to recommend in/near Lakewood?

I'm thinking I'll do the work myself but not 100% on that yet.

I'm OK btw.

Driver's rear was hit while I was sitting still waiting and they were accelerating to merge since they thought I had gone...

Damage doesn't look to bad from initial scan, but a shop will want to replace bumper and mounts, hatch, bumper cap, and need to do some work on the quarter panel.

$2800- $4000. Get the insurance money fix it yourself with used stuff. I gave a big range since I can't really see if the rear body panel is tweeked. the rear body panel is where the bumper brackets bolt to. I'm headed to the junkyard tomorrow in Colorado SPrings, I'll look for a black xj for you and let you know what i find.

That's my plan. with a $3,500 vehicle I thinks there's not much chance they wont total it... Will that give it a salvaged title? I'm not sure how all that works.

Just need to convince the wife to let me rebuild. She's not a fan of the old XJ...

Anybody use Bear Creek Auto on Kipling? I need to take it in for an estimate so I can get a check (hopefully). Or at least get the ball rolling. They were recommended by the insurance co.

I used to live a couple blocks from there. I almost went though them a few years ago for a hail job on my wife's car and it was a complete mess so they never even touched the car. Ended up going through Hampden Auto Body at Federal and 285 and it was really smooth.
