Coil springs-axle problem-coils bent

i think you climb in your xj ride the 1800 odd kilo's and come help me. the e-mail Eric sent me suggests the same thing. hey, gonna be busy in this cold again this weekend. when you sending me those hockey jobbies? gonna need a good couple to do the job.
I see you are way down there. It's winter there huh? Looks like you need the axle forward about 1-1/2". I am suprised if you don't get death wobble without drop brackets. Good luck.

it's winter and a bad cold front has just arrived. they say the worst should hit us on Saturday. if i could just get a good couple pix of one then i could fab them. i have pix but not real good ones. anybody with good pix post them please. got a month to get her running good. got a big yearly 4x4 get-together (250 entries) last year and dearly want to attend.

CAD-okay. i'll get there one day. still learning all the terms.
thx.

what gauge plate would a guy use to fab these brackets. any helpful sites anybody know about to do a home fab job.

He most likely will - I had major death wobble with control arms in the stock location at 6" lift. Fitted drop brackets and it's now more stable than ever and running with way less caster than ever...

Steve, don't stress too much - I'm sure by just lengthening the right hand control arms, getting your trackbar fitted and have a proper wheel alignment done with shed a lot of light on what your next steps should be to sort it...

AAAaaaah thx for all the positive words guys. i think it will be easier and cheaper to park her and just admire her every morning when i go to work. Andre what your drops cost landed. if i get them thru Don I am looking at 4G's. in my life i will never pay that. hey guys what do LA's kits consist of? I have the JJ's to start with and one hey duty TF cross member that i can work on.

At that lift even DB's would be marginal, you need some LA's!
