Clrusty's new ride - WrenchFest Oct 8th

Is that a URE sticker I see on the left front quarter panel?

Nice to see a little bit of NC on the Jeep!

YES.. its already a trail beater even before going there. All we need is to get it a Harlan sticker from the crawl and it would be official! LOL

No group picture of y'all and the Jeep turnout?

Check post 413. I think that is the whole group except me and BigAlpha since we both needed to leave early.

This is such an awesome project, Glad to see everything came together.

(after a close investigation of the photos, i realized theres a little bit of LASR and Xombie 2 in there, very nice :D)

They live on sir!!!!!

I test drove the XJ last night and had it up to 50 mph on the odometer w/33's and stock gears and it drove pretty good. No death wobble. Probably could use a box. The brakes were okay but soft. Another bleeding will help them a bunch.

I installed the new 34/78 AGM battery last night too.

Rusty is coming after it today to take it home.

yyup the jeep runs sweet.i had it up to 65 and it ran good and drove good.i have had so much fun driving it today. Thanks Yall.
I was able to lose the back brace yesterday and cant wait to go wheelin.Yall be ready when i get to go.we will go do something easy like woolys first.i know the trails there pretty good so i would know what to stay off of...lol

I hope that once you receive the bumper you like it and it fits up well for ya. I have shortened the side wings to accommadate for the trimmed fenders and will have the D-ring mounts welded through both sides. It it causes any problems, scrap it :D

man i will make that bumper fit if i have to take things off the jeep..lol..that is a cool looking bumper, cant wait to see it on the jeep.had a buddy give me one to use as a temp.temp meaning it has 3 bolts in it..lol.in the next week im going to try and get the front in primer so it will be ready for some paint.yall know i will be posting all kinds of pics as i go ..I Love My Jeeppppppppppppppp.

update..got the brakes fixed today. couldnt get the back right side to adjust and so i took the wheel off and pulled the drum and had parts fall out..lol. so i fixed it and have the best brake pedal ive ever had on anything. just makes my days to have a jeep to work on now. i dont think there has been a day i havent done something to it..

That must have bene the wheel BigAlpha worked on! :) ;)

just wait til you have to bolt on those warn sliders.. after that ordeal you'll consider yourself a chief mechanic.. hehe

Psshh, I didn't work on any wheels - but I did help install the rear leafs. :eyes:

I call :bs: All I saw you do was, well, eat a burger...

are the sliders gonna be a pain in the but? and as far as the brakes went, when i pulled the drivers side it looked like someone had already replaced them, they look new and all new springs too. and i think the jeep went together very well. fine job if i may say so..only one i seen not doing anything was me..damn me...lol
