Clrusty's new ride - WrenchFest Oct 8th

Mark, looks like we're all set to use the SEC Paypal instead. Eric's PM's are full so I can't respond to his latest one, but if I understand his question correctly, anybody can send money to the SEC address.

How would you like us to send it? As a gift with "Rusty's fund" (or something like that) in the title?

Ahhh gotcha. Don't see it being a problem. Unless i'm missing something, the address should be like any other paypal address. It would go back to whatever Mark wants in the subject line to distinguish it from other SEC purchases.

Maybe also include a message of who you are and what forum you're donating from?

I don't have any problem at all using the SEC account. I will keep up with the money and see that it gets to Rusty. If you would, send it as a gift, that way there are no paypal fees associated with it and in the comment, please note that it is for Rusty.

Just emptied my pm's

My only concern is for those on the other forums that want to donate.

Anybody can make a donation to this account. Just paypal to [email protected] or to [email protected]

Both addy's are now linked to this account.

Thanks,
Mark

I have the bumper steel ordered and it will be delivered this weekend. I should have the bumper built sometime next week and will be awaiting the arrival of teh D-ring tabs. Once they get here I will burn them in and get it ready to ship. I have never shipped a bumper this heavy before, so it may take some work to get it figured out since I live on a farm in rural America :D Does anyone have access to discounted shipping through their work that we can get a shipping tag for cheaper then me having a UPS store ship this out...b/c it could be an astronomical cost.

get a few frieght quotes from any trucking terminals local to you..... dhl actually has a pretty decent freight rate and if you go wit a trucking company there are many terminals in knox or nash that someone could pick it up at

nothing remotely local to me...I live an hour from the closest UPS station....DHL or other freighters are about 2.5 hours away from me in Des Moines or Kansas City. I am going to check with a buddy of mine in TX that ships large scale stuff through UPS and gets discounts. I could possibly haul it as far west as St. Louis if anyone is close to there to meet for pick up.

Where are you located Cheezeman? Western Iowa?

I'm originally from Iowa and may have some connections....or may not...hard telling!

I am in north central Missouri about 10 miles from the Iowa line. Little town of Unionville, MO is closest town to me about 10 miles from the farm. I am in discussions with the rest of the MWC BOD about getting the shipipng covered, so we should be good....and we may even have a few more little surprises o send along ;)

Ghost has a trucking connection if he'll chime in. Don't know if they ever stroll thata way or not.

Mostly broker frieght. DHL or one of the LTL shiipers is your best bet. Yellow is another one off the top of my head. There is another one that is mainly SE but the name escapes me. We have a couple trucks leased and some guys that run for us dedicated but MO is not a big destination for us.

i was curious about the driveshaft. with a 4.5'' lift will it be ok being a stock ds. i mean i had no probs out of my 91 2 door when i lifted it 4.5 with the ds but i was told it was wrong. is that true?

Depends on what tcase they use. If its an older model then not likely to be a problem. If its the 96 up model then you will need to do a SLE most likely.

Not sure what we will end up with as far as the t-case goes, but if needed I have a front shaft that can be used in the rear if an SYE is used.

If no SYE is used then maybe a T-case drop can be used which I have one of those as well.

I posted a thread in the MWC about this:

Mark, I gave the paypal address out in the thread so they can send a monetary donation if they would like.

Thank you sir.
