Cleveland, OH Good Repair/Maintenance Location

Hey guys, I'm from the near east side (heights area) of Cleveland. Basically, I am not the most knowledgable car guy. I had help installing the lift and what not. I can change a tire and do basic stuff, but for more labor-intensive things, my dad takes the jeep to a mr.tire/ntb type place. I just had the rear brake lines replaced and I'm so freaking sick of taking it to garbage mr. tire where they just rip me off sooo bad.

Basically, does anyone know of good, respectable, honest mechanic shops in the area? I am just sooo sick of taking it to these places, but because I do not have the tools, know-how, garage, or time, I cannot do repairs myself, so please do not suggest that.

I unfortunately don't have any places to recommend because I typically do all of my own work, but I will recommend staying away from Crestmont. I used them to help me install my V8 ZJ steering because I couldn't get the pitman arm ball joint to release and they returned it to me with my steering wheel off 180deg.

there is a shop right up the street from me called acceleration, small family owned shop. they deal with mainly import cars (bmw, mercedes, vw ect..) but my family has been taking our cars there for 14 years. great service, they are honest, but get the job done well. best quality mechanics. but they are a bit steep on the price but atleast its done right.

theres also a jeep dealership right up the street from me, and i just went in the garage and made friends with one of the mechanics there who owns two cherokees. he helps me out all the time when he has free time and i just toss him a few bucks or buy food/beer.


btw skibum, i think i saw your jeep at boston mills a week or so ago.
