ok well looks like people that would be in on going out here the 12th are all going to the race on the 11th, so to get more ppl to come ive decided to move this back to the 19th.

where: cleghorn Rd exit off the 15
when: aug 19th meet up at the trailhead at 10am, depart 11 at the latest.
this is NOT an official event.

i think it would be cool to run the trail all morning, have some lunch, then just play on the rocks or maybe hit another trail when we're done. i need someone to lead tho, because ive only been there once.

i love dust, it keeps me from having to brush my teefs thats why i want to start early. if it gets too hot after we run cleghorn we can run off to the nearest titty bar if need be, as long as it has AC

So how long does this trail take to get to the end, then back to the highway? where does it end? I will look in my trails books today. Reason I ask, is we have a birthday party in the afternoon for my son's friend. So I will need to clean up and be in Ranch Santa Margarita by 4:00 PM. I would like to run Cleghorn one day.

Hey Robert,

Cleghorn ends at the 138. Typically, people take the 138 to the 15frwy. The trail can be done in about 3 hours or less, but it takes longer with more people. The latest I got off the trail was 7pm and only because someone broke down and we decided to finish the trail in the dark. That being said, Cleghorn crosses the fire road many times. So, you can head back at almost any time.

It's fun trail..

BTW - I might make it. I would lead if I could give you a definite Yes.

ive been in groups where it was less than 2 hours and if you start at the 138 side you can end right at the freeway

Early?? Early is like 7:30 or 8am. Why don't you change the start time to 8 or 8:30??
