Cleghorn Ridge Friday Nov 25

Sakki669 and freerider15, It was great wheeing Cleghorn with you. That Liberty of mine surely dominated those trails. Until next time.

Welp, it was great bumping into Saki669 as he was leaving Cajon - I guess this is what I get for showing up late :D

Amazing how much that trail's changed since I was last on it. Many of the offshoots were doable by a stock XJ then; now they're majorly rutted and would not be kind to unmodified vehicles.

Liberty's really are amazing.

Here are a couple pics from today. I didn't see the elusive Red Liberty anywhere.....

I put a couple of poser shots in from yesterdays Azusa Canyon run also.

Look at the 3rd to last shot. You can barely see a tiny slice of the Elusive Red Liberty.

Oh THERE you are...... you kept getting in the way all day.....

Yeah it was definately a great time, and I'm glad I got to wheel with you guys! That small ravine section got reallllly hairy at parts, but we got through it alright. Trail is real nice, and you can make it from slightly wild, or keep it really easy, which is nice. I think I did f**k something up... driving home wasn't very fun as I was getting vibes worse, enough to get annoying. I think I fawked my front shaft, gonna pull it tomorrow, drive it, and find out. When I am driving and come to like ~40 MPH I can hear a weird rotational griding noise. Gonna get under it tomorrow and start overhauling some stuff.

When did you guys finish up the run? I ran the ridge out and back from I-15 and only saw swb Jeeps.

Dunno what time they finished, but I bumped into saki somewhere in the 3-3.30pm range at the 76 across the freeway. I was up there around noon or so; ran it from I-15 out to the lake, then picked up a trail off of the entrance to the dam I can't remember the name of.
