Claytons LA flex pics-

I replaced my TnT Long Arms with the Claytons kit recently and haven't really had a chance to flex out the Claytons. This last weekend I went ot wheeling and found a perfect spot to test the out. Pictures:

I'm very happy with the switch. As much as I liked the Tnt's design and elegant engineering, the Claytons kit seems to flex better, more predictably and hold up to abuse better.

Please don't think this is a TnT bashing exercise, rather a chance for people to see another option and hear about my personal experience with both kits. Questions are welcome, but please don't turn this into a flame war over TnT/Treks vs. Claytons.

Fawk you haha, personally I love your old TnT kit and having only driven your rig with the Claytons on the road I have no opinion on the flex.

Although yours floats alot more on the highway then mine.

How much lift are your running and why did you switch them? Were you having issues with the Y-link?

What happened to your old Jeep, and your IXNAYXJ licence plate?

Either way, the new one looks good. What made you switch from TNT to Clayton?

He switched when he got a new jeep this winter, I believe he was having problems with his front axle not lining up right with the TNT kit since it was setup for a Claytons kit.

The arms kept coming in contact with the front driveshft or yoke IIRC.

Huh, I dont know but that would make sense since the claytons are set wider then the TNT kit. When are you ordering your Claytons? Is John going to do your install?

Yep, those are longarms. Rear setup don't flex too bad either there Matt.

Sorry I haven't responded, I've been out of town wheeling. Anyway, they're RE 4.5" that are very worn out. I'm also running an 1.75" shackle.

Old Jeep is dead. I wanted to do a cage and some other custom work like the tube flares and it didn't make sense to spend the money doing it on my old worn out rig. It went to the big junk yard in the sky.

I just haven't gotten around to getting the license plate...it'll happen sooner than later.
