The planners are a little behind in getting this survey out and need the results ASAP to include with the plan they are submitting. Please get this out to your clubs members and friends and have them fill it out this week.

The City of Coalmont, TN is planning the development of a publicly owned and operated Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Park. The project is currently in the planning and design phase and is requesting public participation to identify user' needs. The success of the park depends on support and feedback from the OHV community. Please complete the survey at the following link by July 31, 2011. We look forward to hearing from you!

Have a thread going in the MWC as well. This is good news for you guys in TN and for us as well.

Same on pirate and CAOS. I've done it!

Survey is filled out. Sounds like a good opportunity for the OHV community.

Just filled it out. I hope they go through with it.
It seems like a good idea and a good source of revenue for cities or counties with large pieces of unused land. A lot of them are holding out for businesses to come in, but in the current economic and political climate that is a rarity.

I saw this on NC 4x4 and did the survey. I then called my friend that runs our TN office and asked him about it. Apparently its the Mounteagle area. For you old timers its the same area they held the Rosier Roundup. He also said that was a rough area and that you might want to stay up with your jeep if you wanted to keep it. LOL! Anyone from the TN area know this area they are planning on doing this?

Done. This would be cool since it is only about an hour from me.

Coalmont is at the upper end of the Coppengers Cove trail system. Coalmont is about 15 minutes from Monteagle.

I guess I'm an old timer since I attended many of the Rosser Roundups and Rendezvous over the years.

my club (damn locals 4x4) is based out of tracy city. imo there are some sketch places around. but you have to know the right people.

i prob go wheel the cove a good 2-3 times a year.
