Whats up evreybody!

I'm knew to the jeep forums. I've been jeepin for about a year and have had a lot of fun with it. My jeep is just a "mud-hole toy" it is not ever driven on the hwy. Unfortunately I have a 2.8L V6 "power-plant" that leaves much to be desired, but until it breathes its last breath I'll keep running it. I have a carb on it now that I'm tired of foolin around with and would like to change it to a throttle body. I googled the "swap" and it looks as though a Holley 3210 is my best bet... but in the installation instructions it talks about removing the factory throttle body first, here is my prblm, I have a carburetor. Can I still do this swap without changing my intake manifold and spending a lot more money?

Thanks for your help :repair:

Most people seem to think the best way to fix the v6 xj's, is to sell them and buy a 4.0 xj.

;)

Sorry I don't have better advice.

isn't the big swap for a 2.8 to the 3.4 v6? is it possible to get that fuel delivery system on it?

you can get a 4.0/aw4 at a picknpull for like under 300$, any tbi kits i have seen are more than that, plus youll have all the power of the 4.0.
or buy another jeep. the best mod i ever did to my 2.8 xjwas sell it and buy a 4.0 xj....
