CD player

Will a stereo out of another 98 XJ, with a cd player on it.. fit in mine with the same electrical hookups?..I owned an explorer that came wired with all the options but didn't have a cd player installed, and one from another explorer worked...anyone know. (I just thought that it would be nice to keep the factory look on the inside) in case I decided to sell, plus a used unit is alot cheaper that an aftermarket

i don't see any reason why not. especially if you can pick up the wiring harness that was used in the previous xj (just to make it easier).
