Just got home from the movie... that was about the most entertaining movie I have seen! (might help that I, and my whole household are gearheads, but I am betting not!)

The story is fun,the animation is wonderful, and I am sure there are enough jokes and details missed the first time, that it will be fun to sit through a few more times!

OK...... AND there's a Jeep in it..... so it fits on this board!

Really?
An XJ?
I really can't wait to see it.
Even though I despise Larry the Cable Guy, I think his part in the movie seems really funny!

If you stay after there is a "offroad boot" camp by the "Sarge" Willys. The Hummer in that scene claims "I've never been offroad" classic scene for us!!!
That's too funny, right there...:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

The wife and I saw it this afternoon. Fantastic movie and the things they can do with computer animation these days..... wow!

I also liked that the story line blends current automotive related topics and historic topics and events. The whole Route 66 issue; steer right to go left (old dirt track driving references); 3 generations of race cars fighting it out for a current day trophy (I'd pay to see that race in real life - Hemi Superbird, 80's Buick Regal, and whatever Lightning is supposed to be.....) Good stuff!

Definitely sit it out thru the credits, JohnJohn is right, that boot camp scene with the Hummer is friggin' hilarious!

As Mater said: "I'm as happy as a tornado in a trailer park! Dagum!"

Thats a great movie. I liked DW as the anouncer. Anyone else think it kinda follows the story lines of Doc Hollywood w/ Michale J Fox?

uper bird was the king and I'm thinking brett bodine was the green car...reminded me of the skoll bandit car and the quaker state car. even had Jr. in the movie.
