I am down in the springs but might be able to meet up with you. What time you looking at going? Would there be a good place to meet? Maybe a place I can tow the jeep to and leave my truck?

It's a little ways up Lefthand Canyon off of Hwy 36. We could meet at the restaurant on the corner of the turn off. Can't miss it, pretty fancy.There is a place to park a truck/trailer a bit west of the trail head..(yeah, like 40' gooseneck) I'm thinking 9-10 O-clockish, but flexible. Later is better. I have a friend in C-Springs who may want to come along, any intrest in car-pooling?(hoohoo soon to be convert!) He'll ride with Matt on the trail. More on the trail, it's short but sweet. I ran Carnage years ago. We just moved back to Colorado about a year ago. It would be fun to run it again. I had to go around the water fall when I ran it. Was in a TJ with 31's only locked in the rear. I got a lot more clearance with the XJ. Wanting to her from the wife however I am pretty sure we will make it. Let you know later today or tomorrow.

Hehehe... I traded my much loved F-150 in on her Focus wagon. One of the worst decisions I've ever made. Good car tho... Busted out my P-Side tail today on the same obstacle. Wasn't nearly as much fun as Teellander getting his 100% stock Chevy 1/2 ton mired near the top! His XJ barfed the T-Case last week so being the trooper he is he bashed up his favorite truck. I'm sure there will pictures to follow. Took a FJ and a CJ, both strapped to YJ's to winch him out. I'm sure it will be on youtube! Wound up with very little body damage, but his X-member! That'll teach him.

If your gonna get the rig stuck, you may as well do it with gusto. At least we know just what the damn thing can do. (Cuz from now on I'll go with the XJ or just skip the run.)
I'll post the incident when I get all the pics gathered. I also want to get the beast in the air and take some good shots of the damage. I gotta email that guy that was taking a lot of pictures, too.

Wheelin' went great on Sunday. Learned to obey the "Cobra Traction Aid";
Made an offering to the "God of the Waterfall";
And taught some trees a thing or two with my passenger door, you can sorta see through the mud, mid door. Did a number on the whole passenger side, but thanx to the mud you can't see it!
All in all, it wasn't really muddy as Colorado generally isn't, but I did find some;
Ran into 3 heavily modded XJ's comming down.(thought the trail was one way?) Never heard of the site. Hope they show up though, nice rigs!
