can you add power locks to tailgate?

I tried to add a remote "popper" but the solenoid I had wasn't strong enough. I never thought about just making it a power lock.

That I bet I can do it. If no one replies with how to do it. I'll look at it and see how to get it done.

Don't know why you couldn't... mine has a factory power lock for the hatch. Unless I am misinterpreting the question

I looked it over, and don't thing it would be hard to do, I just need to get another lock solenoid ant get it in there. But as of right now that's kinda low on my priority list. I can however give you info about it when I finally get it done. But it's a while before I mess with tiring it.
