Where is a good, relatively central place to camp near these passes?

Also, will I be fine in an xterra on 32's w/ a rear locker?

Thanks.

You looking for a "pay" campground or wilderness?

Here is where I stay, just north of Ouray.......

VERY nice place and the people that work there are very friendly and helpful.
Ask for a spot in the back under the aspens.

You will be just fine with your rig.
ALL the major trails in the San Juans can be done in a stock 4x4 with the exception of Poughkeepsie Gulch.

Check this out........

Holy crap. That has to be one of the most beautiful camp site I have ever seen. Other than a few places I have been that can only be accessed by foot or horse back. I'm def. heading over there as soon as possible.

One more thing. How do I post pictures with my thread entry?
