Camping Anyone?

im still sitting on 4.5" front and 2" rear, it runs and works just fine i just dunno about making it up the trail... or having the funds to do any of this... if i can get my amp sold and or dont need to buy a rear leaf pack i'll have the money possibly =) is the actual camping spot fee free?

I want to go camping bad lol. I am in the process of doing a long arm upgrade on mine so as soon as that is done and i am up and running the only thing limiting me then is the funds. but hopefully this side job i am trying to get works out...

I'm heading to Eagle Lakes for Labor Day weekend if anyone is interested. I'll be leaving Grass Valley around noon on friday the 4th and not planning on heading back until monday. So far there is 7 of us and 3 rigs going. There is always room for more.

Anyone have plans for the next few weeks? I am thinking about returning to Wells Cabin this weekend. It is 60 miles west of Corning and 6900'.

For Labor Day weekend I am thinking maybe Barney Riley. A guy over on Pirate brought it up. He is only planning on staying one night and of course I want to stay longer. He also sort of flaked (because of work) on the last trip he brought up. It has been two years since I have been there but I would like to return.

I am also thinking about a Bodie run. I have never done it before and heard the views are good even though it isn't a technical trail.

Let me know your thoughts.

Has anyone ran Signal peak? I want to try it over labor day if a few more guys end up coming out. I'd do Fordyce, but the xj aint up for it yet.

It is okay for me to come to Los Padres or Pismo but not the other way around? Maybe you will sell that brake line and can afford the gas.

I ran it twice in my burb a few years ago. I found a great fireplace up there.

It is okay for me to come to Los Padres or Pismo but not the other way around? Maybe you will sell that brake line and can afford the gas.

pismo is still a 2 hour drive for me... and the brake lines actually fit so their keepers. also im not exactly working so im only bringing in 1800 a month from unemployment, which 95% goes to bills alone i'll do what i can to save but i cant promise i can make it. i still need to fork out 350 for rear leafs to finish my lift on top of another 80 bucks for D ring recovery points for the front of my xj... those might go on the CC just so i can get them installed and pay twice for them later...

Probably both. There is an entrance to Signal Peaks at the staging area, it all depends on how many people show up. If it's just the group i have now, i'll most likely skip signal peak.
