campfire at Carnagefest

The wife and I would like to come to Carnagefest but I don't think the jeep will be ready in time. Could we still show to sit some campfires and possibly help on the trail for a couple of days?
If needed we will bring:
good spirits and good stories.
some food if needed.:spam:
and other goodies if requested and if possible.
We would really like the chance to get to know some of the members. Let me know what you all think.

Kim.

Baked goods are always a plus. I think we are planning a informal cookout on Sat evening, a dish to pass would be cool.
See ya then.

I will talk to the wife and see what she wants to bake, unless somebody has something in mind that everyone would enjoy. As far as chili goes, if that is what is wanted then that is what I will prepare. If there is something else besides chili to bring let me know. How are the camping arangements made? Is there a campground around the area or a good priced motel nearby? If most people camp than that is what we will be doing. Can't wait to get around the fire and have a few beers with everyone.

Most of us are staying at Summers camp ground. (765) 762-2832.

There is also a Couple of small hotels in Attica, but they are expensive.

Any certain reservations to make to be around everybody at the campground? Certain spot or something? We don't want to be on the opposite end of the campground from the group. I don't think the hotels are the way to go. Time to get the gear out and get it ready.

Tell them you want to be by the Rafferty's in the primitive area and you will be close.

Thanks jeeplas. I will call this week and make reservations. We need to get away for a weekend. It has been a very long summer so far.

They said there is a Hummer event going on the same weekend, so spots are filling up fast. Don't wait too long.

Just called and made reservations to camp in the primitive area with the Rafferty's. At first the gal on the phone asked where I would like to camp and I said with the Rafferty's and she kindof laughed and said "I know exactly where you want to go and who you will be with. Have fun." Seemed funny to me that they know your group that well. Can't wait to meet everybody.

How about a good Merlot, preferably a '92. Pinot will do in a bind.
I think Scott's bringing the brie.

Sounds like a fancy champagne or wine. Sorry not my flavor. I will stay with my barley and hopps. Maybe my wife Jennie would like that but not me, if it is these things that you are talking about. Am I right or wrong?

nevermind

Sorry to dissapoint you kid. Just never heard of those before. As far as baked goods go, what is a good idea? Jennie said she could make a pumpkin bread and muffins or if there are other suggestions out there let me know. Is chili still on the menu or should I bring crab legs or something?:laugh3: Need to know what to bring.

Kim.

Yes, all of that would be great.

Thanks,

Sorry, just kidding on the crab legs. Have to spend that money on gas just to get there and back. I think that now gas is more expensive than crab legs. With a little hope and some bloody knuckles maybe the jeep will be ready to bring down there.

no "maybes" about it.
I prefer Padrons. Rev's a Drew Estate guy.
:cheers: :smoker::cheers:

Well, if the local smoke shops carry these than you both have one each coming. Hope they don't cost me my paycheck.:) I haven't smoked a cigarette in over six years and have only a cigar once in a great while. The wife likes them more than me though. She stopped smoking last year and has a cigar every now and them to kill the craving.
