I'll be up there and i know that Jeepme is going too.

Just by chance....I'll be home from 3 weeks of travels with work just in time to attend a family event in Reno the 16th-18th. I didn't want to, but this convention will be a nice distraction.

Tom

Yep I'll be there. You dont need to buy raffle tickets because I am going to win the Jeep

None of you won the jeep....(and neither did I) but with the money raised this weekend hopefully the fight for access to Panamint Valley will result in a positive for all of us.

Thanks Tom, not a bad looking place to rase money for:

I dropped a bunch of money on the tinbenders F-Toy raffle for Panamint Valley, but then lost all my tickets. :bawl: At least the money went to the right place!

Is Cal4wheel actually going to give money to FOPV to support the law suit?

Richard,

I only went to the trade show and parking lot, not any of the meetings or dinner.

When I was filling out the ticket stubs that's what I heard the seller say to a couple of other guys purchasing tickets. That the funds would go to Panamint Valley. He even talked about some folks can't get to property they own there because the BLM shut down access.

Hope I didn't miss interpet Cal4wheel intentions, but that's what impression I got.

Tom

Wow! That would be a great thing. I'm one of the property owners, as are a few other NAXJA members. This law suit is very important, and it has far reaching consequences for other land use situations. Money is needed to continue to pay the costs of the suit.

I'm wondering......did any of you go to the business meetings? If so, was there discussion or a motion to make a donation to Friends of Panamint Valley to support the Surprise Canyon lawsuit?

Previously, there has been no Cal4wheel funds going to FOPV.
