I have a cage that started as a S&W prefab and added as I needed for my wants and is fully installed currently.
I am in the process of cutting the top and sides off and dont know how far I want to go with this, but if I can get any $ for the cage thats in it I may be inclined to sell it and redo all the tube work.
I will have the top and sides off and it will be in one piece if removed. It then can be cut to pieces that can be manuvered in to the new rig easier I think. ALso if you wanted it installed I could poss work something out, time allowing.
If interested I will let the complete tube assembly minus the shock bridge only) and footings and even cut off gently the rocker guards for 200$. This could easily be cut at a few straight areas and then just sleeved with OD to ID matching tube and wended back together. Needing only about 6 tubes to be welded.
Cage has B-pillar tie-ins, and rear seat belt tie ins and roof tie in. This eliminated all flex that I typ would feel at the door seams before having it, as well as all creeking.. Tube is 1-5/8 x .188 DOM. Ties to: A-pillar - front drain hole area, B-pillars to large 12"x12" footing plates that are then bolted though the floor to 4x4 angle welded to either side of frame. Very strong. but no frame angle to be removed. You can either do yours similiar to mine or just bolt though the floor with large washers on the bottom. The D-pillar is a full width in the rear piece of 2x2x.25" angle that is bolted thru the floor to/thru the rear shacle boxs, and frame material.
Best come see it for your self if interested, to see exactly how it all is and how it would transfer. Come sit in it and see if you like it?
If interested in the rear shock bridge also, I will let that go with the cage for $250 total.
