I went Friday morning, bought harbor freights pipe bender and notcher and picked up some sch. 40 pipe on my way home. That's right, harbor freights cheap ass bender and notcher. And pipe, not tubing :) Been wanting to try this for a while and I had an old winch plate laying around so I ventured off to build my bumpers. Had the front one built by Friday night and Saturday I started on the back and got it knocked out.

Not perfect by any means but good enough for my first go at it. With that said this Cherokee was given to me for free so I didn't wanna spend a lot of time and money on bolt ons. Learned a ton and for me that's what it was all about! I think I accomplished my "budget" state of mind :us:

Looks pretty good for a pipe bender.

I would have done the back differently, though. Need to get the cut and fold going on.

Definitely looks effective.

Yeahhh kinda wish it would have turned out different. In my head it was going to look different lol. But it's effective, def a learning process!
