Building a bumper...

Let me get some more stuff designed and made then I will worry about names and stuff. I can't even keep up with the demand yet. LOL

Hehe, at the rate things are going for you I half expect to see your name in Green soon - maybe you can be a CO Fest sponsor this year. :laugh3: You can donate a bumper for a raffle prize. :D

If you built one like AJ's Tanker I would buy it from ya!!

So 11 or 12 April you going to come over so we can get my garage er.. shop wired up right? We'll be able to double production that way. Get a larger amount of the Mean-Green Fabrications Eco bumpers on the market. :D

I think I see what you're talking about there - the long bottom piece of tube, right? I'd be cool with box tube for that piece and just the rest of it tubed.

The explorer engine swap is pretty darned cool, and I like that it allows you to swap in a V8 w/o changing out your entire drivetrain. I'll probably be copying you when my 4.0 eventually dies. And by copying you I mean dragging your arse up to my house to do most of the work while I sit back and drink beer. :D I'll hand you a wrench or two as you need them though. :D

before I got my stroker, I was planning a 5.0 swap into my old 91... if I don't end up with an oil-burner in the next stage, it'll be a blue oval (not to mention they continue to gain my respect for refusing any bailout money, but cutting their debt by 38% in the 1st quarter -- Ford may just survive...):yelclap:

Yeah, I'm a die hard chevy fan but I feel no pity for GM if they don't survive. I love the old Chevy Muscle cars and the new Duramax trucks, but ever since the late 70's GM has been digging themselves into a hole by not being able to keep up with the times or break their own mold. They have started to redeem themselves and put out some good cars again, but they seem to have no confidence and aren't willing to take a risk. If I was in GM management I would have a "what else can we lose attitude" and just start going crazy with the cars. Put out some really cool and crazy vehicles that will either make or break the company instead of staying timid and slowly die of attrition. GM has come up with some really cool things in the past, especially when playing with turbocharged V6's and AWD (Syclone, Typhoon, Grand National) but they always seem to loose their courage and go back to making bland and unreliable vehicles. Ford is putting up a good effort at survivng but Chrysler and GM are being a bit stupid about things, I just don't see them making it.

Ford hired the old CEO of Boeing. That guy saved Boeing from going under. I was sitting in waiting room saw issue of Forbes and read about it. If it wasn't for the Firestone tire deal Ford would probably be in the same boat with the other two. That made Ford step back and make some changes. Plus they unloaded Land Rover, Jaguar , and Aston Martin. Helped free up some cash and took away the burden of those companies. GM now stands for Government Motors. LOL

Starting up again if anyone is interested let me know. I got my hinge and latch today. I found a place that sells the latches for less then 8 bucks. I got 4 for 40 bucks shipped. Other place I looked at wanted 40 plus shipping for the same thing. Hope to get a rear done this weekend.
