Building a bumper...

Here is some pics of the new non winch front bumper. It is just propped up in the pic have not mounted it yet. Still have some work to do.

Lookin good. I think I may want one of those rear bumpers now too....

And the front bumper is holding up fine... may take some time with a grinder to clean it up a bit...

Oh and inforaride that's my rig with the XTs on it. ;)
 
Welder cost me 700 bucks, plasma cost 1200 bucks, grinders cost 200 bucks, wire cost me 50 bucks, bolts cost me 25 bucks, plasma tips cost 15 bucks, welder tips cost me 10 bucks, grinding wheels cost me 30 bucks, drill press cost 300 bucks, chop saw cost 200 bucks, work bench cost me 150 bucks, steel cost 100 bucks, drill bits cost 100 bucks, welding helmet 100 bucks, gloves 20 bucks, face shield 20 bucks, markers 5 bucks, straight edge and squares 30 bucks, plywood and staples for jig 15 bucks, gas to get all the chit you need 100 bucks, and probably about 100 bucks to just be safe.

Just so everyone knows this is probably the last month I will build any bumpers that I will sell. If everything goes smooth and I get moved into my new house my focus will be back the XJ and remodeling the new house. I talked to Dutch and he might be taking over for me. Cause I do not have the time. Work has been crazy busy and I just do not have the energy to work on these. Plus I would rather enjoy spending time with my boys as they will not be young forever. Soon they will be building there own bumpers and chit for there Jeeps.
