I don't like the how you can see the unibody behind where the winch goes. And I don't like the ends they look too skinny. Other then that it looks fine. Here it is on ebay. 225 bucks. And I still have to do all the work. So I saved over 150 bucks plus my time to drive up and get it or cost of shipping. Time it would take me to drive up there and get it I could have all the parts cut for mine.

So now that I got my new saw blade I felt like it was time to get back to the bumper. I had to order some poly bushing for the long arms so they are on hold until get them. So I spent about 45 mins on the bumper. Here is some pics. If I can get to it tomorrow I should have it all cut. :yelclap:

Oh yeah it is burning the jig a little but not too bad. Only one fire so far. :D

oh nice!
lookin for low profile...d-ring tab and holes to mount my lights on front
antenna mount and receiver on rear

thats not the unibody yoy see thats the sway bar his bumper cover just bottom part of it. Metal is coming down in price so thats a good thing. I might end up with one of chips reciver bumpers for the camping XJ Chips put some good time and research into those. I'm all about doing it your self too. I did my own front reciver bumper and plan on doing a new one when it comes time for a winch bumper.
So just take your time do alot of mocking up on it. Tack all your stuff up place it on the bumper make all the changes and it will come out good. Don't be in a rush and you'll be just fine.

try and tie in the tabs to more than just the front of it. I did mine out of 2x4 so I have them welded front and back. Seen a few that have been pulled on in the past and have cracks. Thats one part of your bumper you don't want to fail

I sell this stuff . Click on the top vid.
I can grab you a sample bottle, if you want to see how it works w/ welding.

I also have a heatshield cloth if you want to borrow it.
