body herculiner/durabak

I have the usual clear coat problem on my xj and know that painting it with a rattle can will not last that long and probably cost more than I think to get the results I want. I have herculined 2 xj's & 3 yj's interiors with Herculiner and was thinking of Herculining my exterior body with it. I think this will also minimized the damage on rocky trails like the Rubicon. Would do guys think? Herculiner has black, red, & gray & Durabak had 20 some colors.

Durabak is stronger and won't fade as bad.
