Birmingham Meet n Greet n Wheel weekend

Can we go to a wing place for dinner? I have been craving good wings, but havent been out to get any yet... I looked to see if Bham had a Wild Wings Cafe, but dont think you guys do. Any place around there with good wings????

I think we've got Bob Baumhower's or something like that...They've got yummy chicken...not a wing dood...I'm a breast dood...:moon:

Yeah, not a place that has just wings, but a place that has some... if not its no big deal. I just need to drive my arse to Wild Wings up in Marietta.

Since it's yalls town, where are we eating? priorities man, priorities. :D

I'm with ya! I've been thinking about it...just not too much. Got a presentation I've been working on tomorrow. After that, I'm hoping to have some more time to looking into it! Also, any requests on where to wheel? I'm also hoping to look into that this weekend. We might be able to head East, Morris Mountain, or I think Chocolocco is kind of out that way (never been), to make your drive home a little shorter, or Northeast to Mountainside, or South (about 45 min from me) to Ironhorse (never been there either), or north about the same distance is Stoneylonsome...Oh the possibilities!:viking:

I'll wheel anywhere you guys want. The closer the Bham the better for me, i have a meeting i MUST attend Sun evening. I need to be back in bham no later than 5:30pm. I'll leave early as i need to. As for food, wings.... either Bob Baumhower's or Buffalo Wild Wings. Both have a bit of everything. Its Aaron's date night......... were just taggin' along.......Aaron waht do ya want?? HAHA

Wings sound great, just a bit messy for first impressions lol. Its all good! Ill just be self conscious the entire time im eating, constantly wiping wing sauce off my face! Buffalo Wild Wings is always a good standard wing choice. Havent been there since i was going to school in FL back in 07'.

Aaah. Old Blue needs a head gasket.... I gotta get busy...

We have Buffalo Wild Wings - About five locations.
Bob Maumpowers - I think three locations.
On Tap Sports Grill - Personal favorite for wings - 4 locations

March 6-7
Who's up for a Meet and Greet Saturday dinner, and Wheeling Sunday? We'll find a good food place, and Wheeling is open too...Iron Horse? Stoneylonsome?
I'm in.

1) Andy, Dinner (w/familiy) and trail (minus family, they got Bday party plans)
2) James, wife and SIL, Dinner and trail
3) Eddy_AL assuming no conflicting Wedding plans
4) Redneck
5) DrRandy

Head Count....who all is planning on coming? Dinner? Trail? or both?

5pm? Geez Andy... I know old folks eat early but dang??? :D :D

The wife and I will be meeting up with the Erin (SIL....hope thats not too wierd...) 2-3pm, and will meet you guys at the restaurant at whatever time.

I dont care where we wheel, I will leave that up to the local guys to choose. I will say this Andy, dont worry about us trying to wheel in a direction more towards ATL. I still will need to go back to your place after wheeling and pick up that axle since I dont want to wheel with it tied down in the back.

Ok, we'll meet for dinner at 6pm. I just found out I'm in a class til 5pm over at Samford Univ.....
I was thinking 5pm so we might be able to use some light, and have some extra time for BS....I know how you jeep guys are...

That works... meet at 6pm, BS for 30 - 45 minutes while we wait on a table, eating by 7 or 7:30, gone by 9 or 9:30 (or later depending.....)... perfect.

Trail ride Sunday March 7, 8am Stony Lonesome, Cullman, AL
http://www.stonylonesomeohv.us/

We do want to get an early start. We've got a couple folks with a long ride home, and those that have plans that evening.
Happy Trails

Mark, how sure are you about the kids for Sunday?" And how old? I'm debating asking a friend to join us, and bring our 4 yr olds.....:rattle::roll:

This sounds like a fun time. I'd sure like to join in but 7 hours driving for 3 hours visiting is just too rough on this old man. I'd be driving by myself.

I've got a 17 year old and a 13 year old that might be coming. Bring the kids, the more the merrier. Plus some of the best lines on a wheeling trip come from them...You know, like "Hey dad, why'd you go in the mud and get stuck? Why didn't you go around?"

Heck Ya...i'm ready...let's wheel! I'll see ya'll at the wing joint sat 6pm,

Im workin on being there with the Cherokee. I got the SYE installed and all put back together but its stuck in 4wd. Im pulling it all back apart tomorrow to see what gives. I really want to get it up there to see what these axles and long arms will do.
