Bilstein 5100 vs. 5150

I just told them the springs (rockcrawler, and that they where kinda soft ),the lift hight, and he also asked about tire carriers and winch bumpers, which I only have the tire carrier. The guy I talked to (wish I could remember his name) also asked me what shocks I was currently running, I think he was trying to get an idea of the ride type that I was looking for and then he told me over the phone about the revalving. Best thing to do is just give them a call and tell them what you want. The ones I got are the MV1 series 3386 front and 3336 for the rear. I took the compresion bump stops off the rear ones to gain more up travel.

I think the type of suspension has more to do with the shock than the weight of the vehicle, within reason of course. The fact that my front & rear shocks are valved way different has more to do with the type of springs than any weight bias.

I would think that weight of the rig is as important as spring rate when evaluting valving? Wheres Ed when you need him?
