Big Bend in February

I am / was on the TNT4x4club forum which has disappeared

Members were planning an Big Bend trip in February. I still want to do this trip. If there are co-members here that want to go or if anyone wants to go I'd like to keep this trip active.

I've really been wanting to make a trip out there but haven't gotten around to it. Some details would be great.

Wish I could make it. I did a bunch of desert hiking, camping and wheeling in Big Bend and around Teralingua back in the early 60's. It is definately a beautiful area.

I'd *love* to go to Big Bend. But that's about 1088 miles for me. @ $2.50 per gallon, we're looking at $170 in gas only.

It wouldn't be that bad, but I'm already thinking about ROM. And it's probably colder than sh*t in Big Bend in February.

No it's colder than shit here in Colorado in Feb. It has to be warmer in Big Bend. :wave:

Daytime temperature is fine. I'll jack around all day in 20 to 30 degree weather. Sleeping in it is a different story.

I will be at the Bachelor Run, but I am bring the 4wheelers instead of the Jeep this year.
