Yeah then it's going to go from tacky to crusty and unwashed.

Man all the little bs is what takes so much time. I had to fabricate an adjustable clutch push rod and a new shifter cover for the tranny tunnel. I got the clutch bled and it feels good. Tomorrow I hope to get more done. I need to tidy up the interior, tighten everything at ride height, install the cat section of the exhaust and do more bs.

Oh man...I just want to enjoy it already.

I'm so jealous. I'm doing this same swap here soon. Next month or so. Only difference is I have a 97 auto and a 97 stick. I'll be swapping all parts.

Good luck man, it's a task and a half. Lucky for you you've got the 97 for the little stuff that matters.

All the little things like this. Made a template with the old shifter housing to make a plate.

Had to rig this up, I might make a final product after I drive it and work out any issues if I have any.

Made a plate with left over unfinished projects...

Fits!

Sealed it with foam tape and some insulation for automotive restorations.

It drives! Just have to do flares, install sliders and rear bumper. Need to get some weight on this guy and get rid of some rake. I haven't taken it on the road yet because I need to button up some stuff but I have high hopes!

Got my new pcm today...again...and it's programmed correctly! Yahoo! No check engine light, scanner communicates and no misfire.

I got the some of the stereo in, the dash is back together, removed the shift interlock cable for the key, works normal.

Lastly my RE shocks came in so I installed those as well. Friggn sick. I didn't know they are Bilstein. I'm happy because they happened to be the exact size I need, they were 90 bucks cheaper for the set AND I didn't have to buy a upper mount conversion for the front. I just have to align my Jeep, get the t case linkage rigged up and slap in the front ds...oh...and do those damn fenders...hopefully after Saturday my junk will be ready. Aww crap I still I have sliders and the rear bumper to do...why can't this be done. I just want to enjoy it already!
