Who makes the best wiper blades for the XJ. I have tried several and have not been pleased with any of them. They just don't seem to last long. The only ones I haven't tried I think are the Tripple Edge.
My windshield is in great shape too. Not pitted and no cracks or bullseyes.

What have you all had good luck with?

I tried the triple edge once

I've also tried several of the expensive winter or bad weather branded wipers,

they all seem to wear out just as fast.

now I just buy the cheapest ones at walmart,
I like the ones that feel solid and are mostly metal construction.

for the back window I haven't found anything that really works.-

I can't get even contact on the rear widow- streaks.

I've been using the rain-x brand wipers and they seem to work and last very well. Bonus ... they're not very expensive. They're much better than the Bosch blades I had been using on my bimmer for years.

I strongly prefer Silblade, which are teflon coated, as previously mentioned. These blades really wtfpwn the rain, and they don't seem to wear out.

I've been using the Exact Fit ones that can esaily be found at Napa.....had good luck with them so far...only ocmplaint is they chatter alot when its cold and raining....like in the 30's or so. The warmer it is outside, the less they chatter.

being from Arizona and experiencing dry rot with those, i prefer the cheap ones to replace every 3-6 months.

Ive used the bosch excels and excel premiums and just the basic excels are by far better We had them on my moms grand for over 2 years and they were just starting to streak.

I use trico blades, I buy winter blades and they generally last 2 winters from Nov to Apr, the summer blades I just refill, I still have my OEM factory wipers but they have had probably 7 refills or so. For the rear I replace the whole blade and holder plus I spray it with Mobil-1 lube and work that stuff in by flexing the arm in and out so the arm springs against the window better. That hinge in there gets pretty messed up from the summer dust and winter crud.

I bought a set of the winter blades with the rubber boot on them before last summer. They barely lasted through the summer before I had to tear what remained of the rubber boot off because it was rotted and falling apart. The blade under the boot was fine and lasted me till the first freeze this winter and the blade stuck to the window and tore. Ive gone back to buying cheap and replace as needed.

I grabbed a set of Michelin blades at Wal-Mart for both the Jeep and my wife's Dodge van. They work great with no streaking.

Costco has them too. I just picked up a set.

BTW which size is the rear wiper? Some spec out 11" but my current one is 13"

I run the ANCO brand with good luck, Iowa winters and living on a gravel road can be hard on wiper blades, my current pair has been on for a year and still do well.

I run Anco winter blades front and rear ,put a new set on every October runs me a year ,it helps to clean the windshiled with denatured alcohol every 2 or 3 months gets the road grim off and less streaking.

I used the triple edge for a few years but they seemed to chatter BAD after a couple months. I switched to ANCO and they lasted almost a year. I don't run any winter blades and still have the original wiper arms so 9-10 months is good enough for me. I always wipe the blade when I clean the windows. My windshield has some pitting so maybe the triple edge couldn't deal with that. I tried Bosch several years ago and had issues with their blade refills at that time, maybe it's become easier now.

I don't think there is such a thing as "Best Wiper Blades." My orginal blades lasted for at least 5 or 6 years. Everything I have bought after that barely make it through 2 winters.

Sil-blades. Period.
