Replied saying the original engine had a "loose valve shoot through the engine destroying it." And about the engine code - "That code is a common issue in these cars, no big issue."

Quick search and that code could be just a boost leak, faulty egr, or the turbocharger on its way out.....from crd liberty forum

Those are made by VM motori. Actually pretty reliable motors. My guess is it cracked a boost hose somewhere, a common problem on those.

What exactly is the big draw to a micro diesel in a Jeep like this ? Kind of reminds me of guys getting all giddy over a 4bt in an XJ .
