this one has mason written all over it http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/2052963972.html
Nah, not my type. Has the crazy paint thing goin for it, but it doesn't have any nice parts to make it worth while to salvage![]()
What about if we spray paint Ferd on in OD green ?
Cuz there's no replacement for displacement. That's a pretty cool idea, people always toss around the V8 SWAP idea, why not put a smaller yet still more powerful motor in there - hell turbo or super charge it and you'd have a comparable setup.
Cuz there's no replacement for displacement.
Seriously. Why go through the time, effort and expense just to end up with 6 cylinders. A guy would be better off with a stroker......yeah, I said it.
It was only 1/4 of the wall and it sure beat the monkey-snot out of paying $600 to Howell for harness....fooker! AND...I enjoyed doing the wiring.I can tell you exactly why........ compare the parts list needed to do a 3.4L swap to your 5.3 swap..... then compare the money spent to do these swaps.
HUGE difference. But there will indeed be a HUGE difference in power output.
And, I can guarantee a 3.4L swap won't require half a garage wall dedicated to wiring diagrams and specifications....... :moon:
For someone with an ailing early V6 XJ looking for a cheap alternative that puts newer parts availability and better power into the equasion, the 3.4L swap is a very good choice.
For that matter, the 4.3 Vortec is an easier swap than the 5.3.
Those scribbles had nothing to do with wiring.
That was just stick-girl porn.......
I don't draw too well.
Yeah.....I was missing a few "schematics" after your last visit.
Meh....I just just figured you needed some framed art that you didn't need to hold up with one hand.....
