best money spent

1.a) $20.97 for the smoker's windows. Had the ones that don't move and pass. side was broken(it was snowing the day I bought it for $500 in Dec. last year).
1.b) $200.00 for 4 235/75/15 tires on these wheels minus the chrome

The best money I spent was actually buying my clean, high mileage 87 Laredo 6 years ago. I bought a clean 95 to replace it with because I thought newer is better. No way, I love my Renix! It's quieter, has better seats and a D44 & untill I owned it was never off road. I still buy XJs for projects[91 Limited that needs a rear end this time] but I'll keep this one forever.

$25 dual diaphragm booster, then my $75 full length roof rack. (I LOVE Craig's List!) If only I could get the bars I ordered from KOR to mount my roof rack. Grrrr...

You just missed the one I had for sale in the classifieds section. I'm fresh out right now but often times you can find them in the junkyards in 2000< GM vehicles, they can be very easily adapted to an XJ.

PREVENT MAINTENANCE! can be a biatch but getting things done right at the right intervals is the best money i have spent - oil change, tune up, bearings, brakes, etc
 
It isn't installed yet, but the brand new RE 3.5 inch superflex, with full packs and OME's, for $710.
 
my 100 dollar parts jeep w/super bumper, Olympic rock rails, Rusty's 6" lift, black interior with Grand Cherokee power seats, center console, Flowmaster, Weld racing wheels. plus i have sold about 200 dollars worth of parts off it.
